Sharon "Apple" Rose Lee Obituary
Sharon Rose Lee
With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sharon Rose Lee, who departed this life on March 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Sharon Lee was the very definition of selflessness. She was a caretaker not only by role, but by spirit. She had a heart that instinctively made room for the lost, the weary, and the forgotten. If you needed comfort, guidance, or simply someone to sit beside you in silence, she was there. She carried others when they felt they couldn’t stand on their own.
To her family, she was our rock — steady, strong, and unwavering. In every storm, she was our shelter. She was the cheerleader long after the celebration. Her love was fierce, protective, and constant. She loved her family with her whole heart, especially her grandchildren.
Her home was a place of safety. Her presence was peace. Her sacrifices were countless and often unseen, but never unnoticed. She gave without asking for anything in return, and her legacy of compassion and strength will live on through all of us.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carter A. Lee and Anna Rose Lee; her siblings, Diane Porter, Alice Lee, Carter Lee, Brenda Lee, and Cynthia Lee; her beloved grandson, Shawn Anthony Lopes; and her cherished great-granddaughter, Nyiel S. Pires.
She leaves behind her loving children, Jermaine R. Lee, Shawn A. Lee, Henry P. Lee, Anna R. Lee, Cecelia Lee, and Jacqueline Knott; her devoted siblings, Anna Lee, Michael Lee, David Lee, Dorothy Ameikumo, Lloyd Lee, Francis Lee, Leonard Lee, and Beverly Lee; and she was blessed to be a grandmother to many grandchildren and a great-grandmother to many, including one precious life she was joyfully anticipating.
She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the love she poured into us. We will honor her by caring for one another the way she cared for everyone —
wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
Rest peacefully, Mom. Your love remains our foundation.
