Valerie Appleles Rinn, 73, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was the daughter of the late John Nelson, Thelma Martin, and wife of Ronald Rinn Sr. Valerie leaves her loving children Ronald Rinn Jr, Robert Rinn Sr, Sharon Rinn, Sharlene Rinn, and daughter-in-law Tricia Bonanno-Rinn. She is survived by her siblings: Gale Gobern, Gail Harris, John Nelson, and the late Floyd Nelson. Loving grandmother of Michael Rinn, Robert Rinn Jr, Storm Bonanno, Eric Aiello, Angelica Rinn, and Jaylene Rinn. Loving great-grandmother of Michael Rinn Jr, Ariana D’Amico, Chase Lema, Ryan Lema, Michael Lema III, and Alanna Aiello.

A shining star has left our lives, but her radiant light will forever be etched in our hearts. Valerie, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend; has passed on to eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering generosity. With a heart full of compassion and a spirit that inspired countless lives, Valerie touched everyone she met. Her infectious laughter, warm smile, and a comforting presence made her a beloved cherished figure to us all.
