Janis Maureen Gomes, 72, of Providence, passed away on February 13, 2025. She was born in Providence and is the daughter of the late Radeo Gomes and Elizabeth Ann Soares. Janis is the beloved mother of Marc Gomes, Shonda Gomes, and Diona Gomes. She is the loving grandmother of seventeen and eleven great-grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings. Janice is the beloved sister of Renee Porter, sister-in-law of Darlene Gomes and Beatrice Gomes. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Dennis Gomes, Ronald Gomes, David Gomes, Douglas Gomes, and Marilyn Monteiro.
