Obituary of Lorena Elizabeth Mercado

Lorena Elizabeth Mercado, de 68 años, de Johnston, falleció el domingo 13 de abril de 2025. Nació en El Salvador y era hija de la fallecida Martha Serrano. Lorena trabajó para Providence College en manuntencion durante muchos años antes de jubilarse. Le sobreviven su amada hija, Elizabeth Martínez; nieta, Ella Casanova; los hermanos, Edwin Mercado y Delmy Mercado Elías; y su sobrino, Jeremy Montepeque.

Los servicios de Lorena se llevarán a cabo el viernes 18 de abril de 2025 de 6 p.m. a 9 p.m. y el sábado 19 de abril de 2025 de 9 a.m. a 10 a.m. en el Servicio Funerario y de Cremación de Mount Pleasant, 168 Academy Ave, Providence. Lorena Elizabeth Mercado, 68, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. She was born in El Salvador and was the daughter of the late Martha Serrano. Lorena worked for Providence College as a housekeeper for many years before her retirement. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Martinez; granddaughter, Ella Casanova; siblings, Edwin Mercado and Delmy Mercado Elias; and nephew, Sobrino Jeremy Montepeque.

Lorena's services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 9am to 10am in the Mount Pleasant Funeral and Cremation Service, 168 Academy Ave, Providence.
