With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gail A. Lemelin, age 78, of Coventry, RI. Gail was born on April 21, 1947, to Gerald and Lydia Collette. She passed away peacefully with her life partner, Pat Peltier, and family by her side at Kent Hospital on June 9, 2025. 

Gail grew up in Cumberland, lived in Florida for a brief period of time, however, missed family and friends and moved back to Rhode Island. She originally moved to West Warwick and later settled in Coventry, where she lived until her passing.

She was a hairstylist for her entire life, who loved conversation and laughter. She was an avid gardener who loved her flowers and vegetable gardens. She was most at peace by the ocean, where her ashes will eventually be scattered.

She is survived by many friends and family who loved her dearly, her children Dennis G. Estevao (Cyndie), Lori A. Brown (Thomas); her grandchildren Dennis, Jason, and Nicholas; her great-grandson Oakley, along with many sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of traditional services, we will hold a “Celebration of Life” in late August, where those who wish can gather, share memories, reminisce, and remember the contagious laughter of Gail that brightened the lives of all who knew her.
