Louis DeFilippo Obituary
Louis "Uncle Louie" DeFilippo, 97, a lifelong resident of Providence, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025. A son of the late Luigi and Victoria (Colavechia) DeFilippo. He was the brother of the late Ernesto, William, Nickolas, Michael, Angelina, and William DeFilippo. Louis worked at Taco Heaters for thirty years before his retirement in 1976.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Mount Pleasant Funeral and Cremation Service, 168 Academy Ave, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave, Providence.
