Sarah F. Clements, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, at the age of 82. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Born in Shelby, North Carolina, Sarah dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was a woman of great character, always speaking her mind, but deep down had a kind heart. Sarah retired from RI Hospital. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished deeply. Sarah is survived by her two sons, Brian Sr. (Brenda) and Barry (Lori), who will forever carry her lessons and love in their hearts. She was the ex-wife of Harvey Clements, with whom she shared a long-lasting friendship throughout the years. She also left behind her cherished grandchildren: her first granddaughter, Marisa Sanchez (Leeanna), of Tampa, FL, who was her best friend; her beloved Brandi Sanchez of East Providence, RI; and her grandchildren Ariannah, Nizaiah, Audra, Jasmine, and Clarisa. She leaves behind 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Brian Clements, Jr, Providence, RI, and Alex Rei, who held a special place in her heart. Her family and friends will remember her laughter, wisdom, and her “tell it like it is” attitude, as well as the countless memories they shared with her. A service to honor Sarah’s life will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm in the Mount Pleasant Funeral and Cremation Service, 168 Academy Ave, Providence.
