Linda Lee Newson, 74 of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025. Born in Providence, she is the daughter of the late Walter L. and Vera H. Hitte, Jr. Linda worked in customer service in the automotive and travel industry before her retirement.
She leaves her children, Daniel Ryan IV, Jamis Ryan, Steven McCann Jr, Melissa McCann,
six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Linda is the sister of Kimberly Hitte and James Hitte
A memorial gathering will be held with family and friends.
