Elizabeth “Gamma” H. Olsson, 57, of Providence, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 after a brief illness. She was the spouse of the late Ross Robinson, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George W. Jr. and Elizabeth (Carroll) Olsson. Elizabeth worked as a Food and Nutrition Catering Coordinator at Rhode Island Hospital for 18 years. She was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jeremy Olsson and his wife Yolanda of Providence, Melissa Robinson of Pawtucket and Ross Robinson, Jr. of Providence and Shateke Bennett also of Providence; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Harpin, Arielle Harpin, Jeylissa Christian, Jeyson Olsson, Madissyn Olsson, Jeydon Olsson and Jeyvon Olsson; two brothers, James M. Olsson and his wife Kathleen of Coventry and George W. Olsson, III of Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Mary-Ann Auttote-Olsson. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 5-8 PM in the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
