Brother Bob & I worked at St Ignatius in the 1980s nd became close friends. We would often lunch @ Casa Ramirez and go to the cheap movies on Tuesday. Bob & I were film buffs. I actually taught a year of Christian education for him when he needed a lion tamer for the 9th graders. I will always cherish the good times we had. See you in the afterlife bud.

My father died in 1978, when I was 17. A month & a half later, a classmate, also 17, died suddenly. The boy's grave was not far from where they buried my father, and I made my first trip to his grave site, where I broke down in uncontrollable grief that I had held in for that month & a half. Brother Bob & 2 other Brothers saw & comforted me.
I'll never forget you, Bob, for being there when I needed someone. RIP.

I remember the moment I met Bob as a fellow novice in Valatie,NY His kind smile and soft spoken voice endeared everyone. Our time there was a wonderful friendship that endured through the years with several visits, the last about four years ago when I flew him to Pittsburgh for a two week stay. Our times were precious to me as was he. I will never forget you Bob and will see you again I know. Dennis Johnson

Please accept my sincere condolences. I have often thought of Bob; I went to St. Patrick's School. My family moved in 1954; I hadn't see Bob since then. We were quite fond of one another when we were around 10 or 12 yrs. of age. He gave me one of the most beautiful Christmas cards. I have thought of him often, but didn't know his whereabouts.

Please accept my dearest and heartfelt sympathy; I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. Isaiah 61:1, 2.
