Obituary of Anastasia Pambuku

Anastasia Pambuku, 91, of Providence, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Lazar and Aphrodite (Gheka) Pambuku. Anastasia was a lifelong employee at AT&T before retiring. She was a former member of the AT&T Pioneers Group, and a member of Saint John’s Orthodox Church in Woonsocket, which her family founded. She is survived by her brother, Elea (Lou) Pambuku and his wife Eileen; his sister, Joana Pambuku Benoit and her husband Robert; and three nephews, Elea Pambuku, Steven Pambuku, and Luke Benoit. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Tuesday, April 17 at 11am at Saint Peter’s and Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 25 Pomona Avenue, Providence. The burial will be private.
