Robert L. Benoit, 90, of Providence, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Joana Pambuku. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Aram and Yvonne Benoit. Robert was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was then a machinist for many years at Cumberland Engineering before retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Luke Benoit, and brother-in-law, Elea Pambuku and his wife Eileen, and their sons, Elea and Steven Pambuku. He was the brother of the late Estelle Fuchs, and Jeanette Benoit.
