Clarice Dardeen, “Cleo”, 74, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was the wife of the late James R. Dardeen, who passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Marie (Palardy) Dardeen. Cleo was a Licensed Practical Nurse working at the Department of Corrections for 23 years, retiring in 2003. She was an active member of Our Lady Grace Church, volunteering at the Feast/Kiddie Bible Program, the Prayer Shawl Ministry, and was a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Knitting Club at the Wayland Yarn Shop. She is survived by her in-laws, Brian Dardeen and his wife, Jessica, and Linda Lombardi and her husband, Valentino, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She also leaves her two dogs, Millie and Sophia. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 11:30AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Sunday from 3-6PM in the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904, in memory of Cleo, would be appreciated.
