Obituary of James R. Cannon IV
Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James Robert Cannon IV, 49, passed away unexpectedly December 8, 2018. Born and raised in Providence, he was the son of James Cannon III and the late Jeanette (Poutre’) Cannon. Jimmy had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. He was always quick to tell a joke and he loved to make people laugh. He was an accomplished artist and he especially loved to draw and paint. Growing up he played basketball, football and baseball. He was a brown belt in karate. More recently he enjoyed golfing with his dad and brother Michael. He was an avid New England sports fan. His favorite teams were the Bruins and the Patriots. Jimmy was very devoted to his family helping out whenever he could. He especially enjoyed family dinners and get-togethers. Jimmy was a very proud union electrician for IBEW Local 99. Besides his father, he is survived by his fiancée Celeste Clark and son James Cannon V. He also leaves his sister Deborah and her husband Edward; his sister Patricia and her boyfriend Wayne; and his brother Michael and his fiancée Janet.
