Amore, John, P., Sr., 67, Archer Ave.., died Saturday at RI Hospital. He was the husband of the late Roseann (Provoyeur) Amore.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Carmella (Petriccioni) Amore.
He was the father of Carol Amore-Richards, Ann Marie Sexton, Donna and John Amore Jr. He was the brother of Anthony Amore, Dolores Mariano, Geraldine Cato, and the late Carmine “Sonny” Amore.
He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mr. Amore was employed as a Principal Janitor for over thirty years by the Rhode Island College Housekeeping Department before retiring.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Atwells Ave. with visitation in the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home,168 Academy Ave on Thursday from 8:30AM to 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. ARRANGEMENTS BY SUPINSKI & BORRELLI.
