Obituary of Kazimierz Zalewski

Zalewski, Kazimierz, 68, of Progress Ave., died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility. He was the husband of Teresa (Zapotoczny) Zalewski.
Born in Poland, a son of the late Zygmunt and Anna (Zalewski), he had lived in Providence for the last fifty years.
Mr. Zalewski was a machinist employed by Sandvik Industries.
He is survived by his son Richard Zalewski, his daughter Yolanda Murphy and her husband Damian, and his sisters Eugenia Zyskowski, and Krystyna Zdanowicz,. He was also the brother of the late Tadeusz Zalewski and Halina Karpinski.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Adalbert Church, Atwells Ave. at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-7PM. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Adalbert’s Church, 866 Atwells Ave., Providence, RI 02909.
