Obituary of Theresa Rose Marie Marinelli

Theresa “Terry” Rose Marie Marinelli (SanGiovanni), 81, of Glocester, passed away Saturday July 27, 2019 at Hebert Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Marinelli Senior.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinetta (Piacitelli) SanGiovanni. 

Terry leaves her daughter Christine L. (Marinelli) Penfield of Glocester, and her sons William A. Marinelli Junior and his wife Sally of West Kingston, RI, Michael W. Marinelli and his wife Mary Beth of Seekonk, MA, Anthony “Tony” J. Marinelli and his wife Cynthia of Slidell, LA, and the mother of the late James Marinelli. Grandmother of the late Steven M. Marinelli. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Sister of Regina (SanGiovanni) Hopkins, sister of the late Frances (SanGiovanni) Cardin, Raymond SanGiovanni, and Christine (SanGiovanni) Calise.

Terry loved all things Italian, the culture and the food. You could always find Terry, in the kitchen cooking for her family. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, sewing and knitting. 

Terry enjoyed her lifelong career of retail marketing and merchandising. She was just as dedicated to her work as she was for her family.
