Obituary of Richard J. Borrelli

Richard J. Borrelli, 63, of Cranston passed away on Thursday, September 12th at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, surrounded by his sons Richard Jr., David, and Jonathon. Born in Providence, son of the late John and Ursula (Supinksi) Borrelli.  Rick leaves behind Grandsons Daimian, and John, brother David, late brother James, and he leaves behind the mother of his children, Deborah Borrelli and partner of many years, Linda Delfino.

Richard worked for Cardi’s Construction for the last 10 years of his life.  Prior to Cardi’s, Richard worked for Swarovski for over 20 years. One of his proudest achievements was working on the 195 rerouting project.

Richard was a die hard Patriots fan, loved fishing, gardening, cooking, relaxing and enjoying nature, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, teaching life lessons, and honoring traditions. 

Richard’s request was to have a non traditional funeral, and that we celebrate life instead of mourning.  

To honor his request, family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life Ceremony.
