Obituary of Robert F. Cormier

Robert “Bob” Cormier, 78, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur and Olive (Arsenault) Cormier. Bob was a T/Sgt in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force he lived in the Phillipines for 8 years. Upon returning to RI, he worked for the V.A. Hospital, and was a bartender at the Pontiac Tap. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #4651. Bob will miss all the bull at the Sports first shift. He is survived by two sisters, Irene Supinski and Rita Allen, a brother, Arthur “Bill” Cormier and wife Rita, sister-in-law Therese Cormier, 8 loving nieces, 4 nephews, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Clarence Cormier.
