Obituary of John E Kenney

John E. Kenney III, (The Duffer) 90, formerly of Warwick RI, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020. He was the husband of the late Rhoda (Greenburg), Kenney. Born in Providence RI, he was the son of John E Kenney and Idella (Wilde), Kenney. Mr. Kenney was a Veteran of the US Army during WWII and a Transportation Manager for the trucking industry for many years before his retirement. During his retirement, he enjoyed traveling around the world with his wife and visited many countries. He is survived by his sons John E Kenney IV, Joseph J Kenney, Jeffrey G Kenney, a beloved daughter in law Loreen J Kenney, and his stepson Brian Redlund. He also is survived by seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Robert Kenney, Constance Dubuc, and Joyce Ricci. He will be interred at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter RI. At a private ceremony.
