Dr. Vanita A. (Brewster) Reedy, 86, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2020. She was the eldest daughter of the late Ernest R. Brewster of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and Adelia K. (Donovan) Brewster of Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands. Vanita Reedy was pastor at Miracle Corner, Church of God of Prophecy in Providence Rhode Island, where she faithfully served for many years until her passing. She will long be remembered for her dedication to God, her church, and her family. Vanita is survived by her daughter, DeLorez Knight of Braintree, Massachusetts, son, Julius, and his wife Charnely Carty of Hackensack, New Jersey, and daughter Mona Lisa Brewster of Providence, Rhode Island, she is also survived by her sister, Rosalyn Brewster. A viewing will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020, from 4-7 PM at Miracle Corner Church of God of Prophecy, 1193 Eddy Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02905. Homegoing Service will be held Friday, June 5, 2020, from 10 AM to 12 noon at Miracle Corner Church of God of Prophecy, 1193 Eddy Street, Providence. Rhode Island 02905.Internment: Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick, Rhode Island.
