My dear friend Lynn has passed away and I am so sad - I've known Lynn for near to 50 years- both as a library colleague and a friend. I can't believe how long we actually knew each other - before 1970 I think! She was such a calm presence at work and always had a kind word for people. She loved nature and animals and her friends and church but especially Rossie. And he her! I will miss the occasional meals out, our Christmas lunch at CAV and especially will miss Lynn's wonderful and wry outlook on life and people. I know she's in heaven with family and friends and pain free - rest in eternal peace dearest Lynn

I was lucky enough to have known Lynn over the last five decades both as a friend and mutual staff member within the Providence Public Library system. The ready supply of wry humor, wise advice and tales of Ross and the cats of those early years had diminished down to an occasional luncheon with fellow retired librarians. But when she attended those lunches, the wit and calm humor was still present. The silent courage of her struggle against illness was impressive, and I, like many, will miss her.

Lynn will be missed by the whole community. We were colleagues together at Providence Public Library at fellow parishioners at St Peter and St Andrew Episcopal Church. She always knew how to bring a smile to my face. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ross and her family. Joe Rawson.

While we grieve our loss, heaven has gained a angel. I'll forever remember you each time I read 'The Gospel according to Linus' and I'll remember your face beaming with joy and the radiance of your smile. May you rest in peace and rise in glory. Almighty God we pray for our sister Lynn and all those whom we love but see no longer.
