Obituary of Regina Yvonne Cadet

Regina Yvonne Cadet, 64, of Cranston, RI, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2020. Daughter of the late Joseph Martin and Elaine (Harris) Johnston. Regina served her community for years, working at John Hope Settlement House and Federal Hill House in Providence. Regina was a devoted member and usher at the Hood-Shaw Memorial A.M.E Zion Church, Providence. Regina is survived by her son Philip M. Johnston, her daughters Ilikiai Johnston and Raygina Bowie, her son-in-law Robert Harold, her brothers—Gary E. Johnston, Michael A. Johnston, and Kevin L. Johnston, her sisters—Chyonne E. McKay and Tracine C. Johnston, her grandchildren—Geneva Y. Harold, Quincy T. Harold, and Elena Johnston-Acevedo, and her great-grandchildren—Nevaeh G. Harold, Heaven Royalty Williams, Na'vell A. Harold, Saria A. Harold, and Antwon J. Williams, Jr. Regina was also the mother of the late Freddie Leon Dalton Jr. and sister of the late Rhonda M. Johnston and Kim R. Johnston. She was a beloved mother-figure and caring friend to countless others, in every community that she was a part of. Details about a Memorial Service in Regina's honor are forthcoming.
