Obituary of Rose A. Cesaro

Rose A. Cesaro, 91, of Smithfield and formerly of Providence, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Salvatore R. Cesaro. They were happily married for 65 years. Rose was born in Providence and lived most of her life in Providence before moving to Smithfield in 1996. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Barbara Cesaro, Dr. Thomas Cesaro and his wife Susan, and Paula Buckley and her husband, John; her cherished grandchildren, Stacy, Michael, Alexander, Rose, Jack, and Elizabeth, her great grandchild, Elizabeth, her loving sister, Rita McNeill and her husband Jack. She was the sister of the late Isabella, Viola, Mafalda, Elvera, and Yolanda Iannuccillo. The funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Brayton Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Friday 8:30-9:30am prior to the mass in the funeral home
