Obituary of Thomas Melvin

Thomas Randolph Melvin; Was born July 7, 1953 in Elizabeth Town Hospital, North Carolina. Thomas was the son of Mary Melvin and the late Albert Rudolph Melvin. Thomas was loved and known by many. Thomas graduated from Central High School and worked for many years at Amtrak. Thomas had a king loving spirit and also loved his family very much. Thomas was always there when anyone was in need. He leaves behind two brothers Clarence and Chauncey Melvin, a sister Melissa Randall, two aunts Letta and Kay, and an uncle Mervin Brown. Thomas has a host of nieces and nephews that are near and dear to his heart. They are also broken from the loss of their uncle. We will treasure the memories of Thomas for years to come. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence RI. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
