Carlos Germino Rodas, 68, of Providence, RI, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Carlos was born on January 9, 1952, in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He was the son of the late Francisco A. Rodas and Marta Alicia Chavez, from Guatemala City, Guatemala. Carlos was a machinist by trade and longtime owner of his beloved jewelry shop, formerly known as North American Polishing, a mainstay of Providence's jewelry district since the mid-'80s. Carlos is survived by his beloved children Carlos G. Rodas and his wife Latisha M. Rodas, Alizia M. Espino and her husband Horacio Espino, Linda J.Williams and her husband Todd R. Williams, Brian F. Rodas, siblings Marta Rodas, Maria Rodas, Rosa Rodas, Francisco Rodas, Ines Rodas, and Luis Rodas, grandchildren Christopher J. Rodas, Santia M. Williams, Julian C. Rodas, Acelia M. Espino, Dyonna-Alinzia M. Rodas, Serina O. Espino, Jadan A. Rodas, Angeli C. Williams, Elissa J. Espino, and many other loved family members and friends. Visiting hours will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence.
