Obituary of Celia Donnelly

Celia M. Donnelly, 100, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at West View Nursing Home, West Warwick. She was the wife of the late John Donnelly. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Emelinda (Catri) Ciolfi. Celia lived most of her life in Providence before moving to Johnston six years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Dolores Bresette, and Patricia Londers She also leaves her sister, Emma Ciolfi, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Alan DelMonico, and sister of the late Sue Piscione, Josephine Tartaglia, Henry and Emelio Ciolfi. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will follow in Saint Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Monday, from 5-8pm.
