William H. Smith, Jr. "Bill" 82, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, January 9th, 2021. Born in Providence, Bill was the son of the late William and Catherine (Stewart) Smith. He was the husband of Patricia (Raymond) Smith. Bill was a member of the Providence Rotary, Shriners, Freemasons, and was also an avid golfer.
Bill is survived by his son William H. Smith III, and his companion Hope-Whitney Davis both of Bristol, sisters Joan Martin of Bristol, and Geraldine J. Smith of Warwick, niece Linda McPhail of Maine, great-nephews Jack McPhail II of Bristol, and William McPhail of Maine, and great-great-nephew Shaun Lazar of Bristol. Funeral services are private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 N Main St, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
