Obituary of Roberta Bowe

Roberta “Robey” A. Bowe (Reavey), 80, of Coventry, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the Respiratory & Rehab Center RI-Genesis Healthcare. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Bowe and daughter of the late Henry T. (Harry) and the late Mary A. Reavey (Castro) R.N. She was born and resided in Providence for 58 years before moving to Warwick. For the past three years, she resided in Coventry. Robey graduated from St. Mary’s Academy High School in Providence as Class President, representing her big personality and social popularity. Robey excelled in math and was a successful bookkeeper for Mrs. Robinsons on Wayland Square. She later became employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield RI, where she retired after 20 years of service. She enjoyed dining at her favorite restaurants with family and friends. Robey always had a special place in her heart for her cherished pets. Robey is survived by her sister Louise M. Goding (Reavey-Parillo). She was the sister of the late John H. Reavey and late Frances M. Allen. Robey also leaves behind four nephews and six nieces.
