Obituary of Barbara M. Price

Barbara Price, 96, of Coventry, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Martha (Hall) Prout. She was the loving wife of the late William Price. Barbara was a self-employed caterer and also worked as a Jeweler for Nu Lee. She was an accomplished cook and crafter. She was a member of Saint Martin De Porres Senior Center. Barbara was the mother of Diane Knott, Carol Wiley, Darlene Price, and Joycelyn Taylor, who she made her home with, Hebert Williams, William Price, Dennis Price, Kevin Price, and about 200 grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Barbara was the mother of the late Richard Prout and Ralph Taylor (Chico). A Visitation for Barbara will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Truth Tabernacle Church, 542 Potters Avenue, Providence, from 9:15 am - 10:45 am, followed by a service from 10:45 am - 11:45 am.
