Darnell Haccord Morris of Uncasville, CT. Age 67, Died on 5/24/202. Darnell was born in Charlestown, W. VA, and grew up in Providence, where he lived most of his life. He was the son of the late Nannie L. Morris Collazo and survived by (3) sons Aries Williams of Cranston, RI, Jovan Dennis of N.C and Gerald Williams of N.C. (3) Sisters: Anita M. Collazo, Tammie H. Adekeye and Trina L. Collazo all of Providence, nieces Darice L. Collazo, Todashia, Tanitra, and Brianna Adekeye, all of Providence, and nephew Larry Adekeye of Providence; he was the companion of Valerie Mendes of Uncasville, CT and also leaves behind great-nieces, nephews, and extended family & friends. Darnell graduated from Central High School. He had a love for the outdoors fostered by his early childhood years in W.VA and as a member of the Boy Scouts. He was an Electrician and Mechanic by trade. At 15, Darnell worked at Quonset Point, where he built engines for military aircraft, he was an electrical engineer for Mule Battery & Lighting, later retiring from the City of Providence. He enjoyed a quiet life, fishing, restoring old cars, and building and tinkering with anything mechanical. He will be missed. May he Rest in Peace.
