Obituary of Mary Rose Comprone

Mary Rose Comprone, 78, of North Providence, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Born in Providence, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Olivo) Gomes, Sr., and the wife of the late Alfred Comprone. She was an avid dog lover and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post. Mary is survived by her sons Alfred A. Comprone, Jr. and John J. Comprone, and grandchildren Tamrah and Johnathan. She was the sister of the late Tom Gomes and John Gomes, Jr. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 9am to 10am in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a service at 10am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside.
