Obituary of Theresa L. DeCoteau

Theresa L. DeCoteau, 97, of Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Nelson DeCoteau, Sr. and daughter of the late George and Roseanne Guertin. Theresa leaves her loving children Nelson DeCoteau and his wife, Deborah, from Providence. Debra Laplante and her husband David of Johnston and Richard DeCoteau of Providence, and her five grandchildren. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was the mother of the late Elaine James and sister of the late Leo, Annette, Rita, Elizabeth, and Ruby. Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, from 7-8pm in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. Her Funeral will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 9am from the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, 901 Atwells Avenue, Providence.
