Joseph Agostinelli Obituary
Joseph Agostinelli, 90, of Providence, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015. He was the husband of the late Ida (DeQuattro) Agostinelli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicola and Giovanna (Fandetti) Agostinelli. He was a World War II army veteran. Joe was a warehouse man for Teamster Union, Local #251 for 34 years, retiring in 1985. He was member of the Manton Avenue Seniors. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Francine Agostinelli and the brother of the late Pardo, Vincenzo, Frank, and Domenic Agostinelli. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 5-7pm in the funeral home.
