Obituary of Sylvia White

Sylvia (DeMarco) White, 85, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Sylvio and Lattanina (Maccarone) DeMarco and beloved wife of the late Paul White.
Sylvia worked as a secretary in the Western Civilization Department and moonlighted on the switchboard at Providence College. Along with her love for Providence College basketball, she was an avid card and bingo player.
She leaves her loving children Paul White and his wife Kim, Carol Antonizio, and Susan White. Sister of Anthony and Ralph DeMarco And was predeceased by her sister Christine (DeMarco) Williamson. Grandmother of Jason White, Nicole White, and Rachel Antonizio and Great Grandmother of Taylor and Anna White. She leaves her dear friends Helen Herchen and Barbara Sweason.
Her Funeral will be held Monday, February 28th, 2022, in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, from 9:30am - 10:30am, followed by a service at 10:30am. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904. For further information, please visit MOUNTPLEASANTFH.COM.
