Clifton A. Wright, 73, of Providence, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. He was the beloved husband for 53 years of Gail (Crosby) Wright. Born in Newport News, VA, he was the son of the late Homer and Rose (Basile) Wright. Clifton worked as a manufacturing engineer for Browne & Sharpe for 25 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Dawn Wright, Susan Lecht and her husband Michael, and Tracey Lawrence; and two grandsons, Benjamin and Matthew Lawrence. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Friday, May 22, at 12pm with visiting hours 11-12prior to the service, at St. Peter’s & St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 25 Pomona Ave, Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter’s and St. Andrew’s Church, 25 Pomona Ave, Providence, RI 02908.
