Obituary of Ann Marie Hutley

Please share a memory of Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ann Marie (Pumpkin) Hutley was born February 22, 1965, in Queens, New York, to Barbara Ann Ross-Hutley and Peter Campbell, but spent most of her life in Providence, Rhode Island. On Sunday, August 28, 2022, God, in His infinite wisdom, called Pumpkin back to Himself. She Peacefully transitioned onto glory at home of her beloved daughter, Desiree Hutley, where she spent her last days surrounded and supported by her loving family.

Pumpkin was raised in Providence, Rhode Island, and received her formal education through the Providence School System. As an adult, she resided in Lumpkin & Albany, Georgia, for over 15 years before returning to Providence, RI. She enjoyed watching her Soap Operas, listening to music, dancing, playing with her grandchildren. She was blessed to have a very special relationship with her sister Tabitha, who she talked to daily (sometimes 4x's a day). She did not "Sugar Coat" things, and everyone knew that Pumpkin would always say "exactly what was on her mind"!

Pumpkin leaves to cherish her memories are her eight children: Craig Huntley of Providence, RI; Jason Hutley of Providence, RI; Shawn Hutley of Providence, RI; brandy Gaines of Lithonia, GA; Anthony Hutley of Providence, RI; Gary Hutley of Providence RI; Desiree Hutley of Providence RI, and Barbara Hutley of Providence, RI. (Barbara was Pumpkin's primary caretaker during the last weeks of her life). Pumpkin is also survived by her four siblings: Alesia Ross of Providence, RI; Gary Ross of Providence, RI; Tabitha Hutley-Robinson of Warner Robins, GA and Sylvia Parker of Hampton, VA. She was also preceded in death by one son Troy Hutley of Providence, RI. She also leaves her maternal Aunt & Uncle, Lady Ernestine Ross (Auntie Teen) of Providence, RI, and Mr. Robert Ross (Uncle Robert) of Providence, RI. She was blessed with 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Shiloh Gospel Temple for 25 years, where she was a devoted member who loved to praise the Lord. Before she departed this earthly life, Sis. Ann Marie Hutley was assured by I Corinthians 5:1, Amplified Version, "For we know that if the earthly tent [our physical body] which is our house is torn down [through death], we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." Let the church say, "Amen," she will be missed by all.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Pentecostal Church of God, 25 Mystic Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02908, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, with a Memorial Service at 3:00pm.
