Norman Brodeur, Sr., 76, of Providence, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Irenee and Loretta (Lemieux) Brodeur.
Mr. Brodeur was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a computer analyst for Providence Washington Insurance Company for 15 years before retiring.
He is survived by four children, Norman Jr., Christopher, Steven, and Kathy Brodeur, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves his longtime friend, Maria Woodruff.
Relatives and friends are invited to a service Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 10am in the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Wednesday 9-10am, prior to the service.
