Joseph Anthony Saroka, 88, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Rudzis) Saroka. He was the loving husband of Maureen (Sweeney) Saroka for sixty years.

Joseph was an avid baseball fan, always cheering for the Yankees. He worked as a bottler and Soda Maker for the former Red Fox and Ginger Ale company in Providence for many years. He was also a faithful Parishioner of St Adalbert's Church.

Joseph was a devoted follower of the Blessed Virgin Mary, often seeing visions of her throughout his day and in his dreams.

He was the father of Stephen Saroka, Christopher Saroka, and his wife, Cheryl. Grandfather of Christopher, Kyle, Bryana, and Edward Saroka.  Great-grandfather of Payton and Avery Saroka. 

Joseph's Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 9:00 am from the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert's Church, 866 Atwells Avenue, Providence, at 10:00am. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm.
