1924 - 2023

Adelaida Reyes Ramos de Ortiz, 99, of Providence, passed away at home on Friday, January 6, 2023. Born in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Francisco Antonio Reyes and Enedina del Carmen Ramos and the loving wife of Juan Francisco Ortiz, predeceased.

Adelaida was the beloved mother of Meris, Eugenio, Leonardo, Alejandro, Valentin, Rosa, Enedina, Erasmo, Carmen, Chila, and la Morena. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her 37 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, from 4:00 - 6:00pm. The burial will take place in Bonao, Dominican Republic.
