Giulio Rapa, 81, of Johnston, passed away at home on June 11, 2023, born in Teano, Italy. He was the son of the late Vincenzo Rapa and the late Pasquale and Liberina (Lomastro) DeTora. Giulio was the beloved husband of Joan (Zolnierz) Rapa. He worked in the jewelry business as a supervisor for many years before his retirement and also as a painter for many years. Giulio was the father of Dawn DiSanto of North Providence and Giulio Rapa, Jr. of North Providence. He was the brother of the late Olga Willett and Renato Rapa and the brother of Vincent, Peter, and John DeTora. Giulio leaves five grandchildren Gabriella, Giulianna, Thomas, Deanna, and Giulio. He also leaves three great-grandchildren.

His visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 9am - 10am in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustines Church, 20 Old Rd, Providence, at 11am.
