Terry Jones was called to lateral rest at the age of 81 on Wednesday, the 28th day of June, 2023.
Born to the late Augusta Lightsey Jones of West Blocton, Alabama.
He served in the U.S. Army, where he was able to travel the world. He eventually resided in the state of Rhode Island.
Terry loved to laugh, tell jokes and sit in the sun. He loved walking anywhere and everywhere. He also loved talking about his hometown, West Blocton, and Birmingham, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his mother and 5 sisters: Havannah (Elvira) Stoves, Helen Banks, Lydia Taylor, Beulah Jones, and Clearenda (Lightsey) Green.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: 1 sister Aror Jones of Birmingham, Alabama, and 1 brother James Edward Jones of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
