David Laprade, 74, of Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023. Born and raised in Providence, RI, David was the son of the late Adelard and Doris Laprade. He was the beloved husband of the late Roseann McCall-Laprade, who was the light of his life, and recently married Gwen Giorgi. He was a wonderful and loving father, leaving his children David Laprade, Ricky Laprade, Stephanie Laprade, and the late Joseph Laprade; his grandchildren whom he loved very much, Liza and Charlotte Laprade and Nathan Carreiro; his brother Dennis and his wife Eileen Laprade, their children; and friends. David proudly served in the U.S. Army for six years prior to an honorable discharge. He dedicated 37 years to working for National Grid, formally known as Providence Gas. He was a well-loved man by all who knew him, and whose smile lit up every room he walked in. He will be deeply missed. David's visitation will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 4pm to 8pm.
