Jason C. Jones, 41, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away on Monday morning, November 6, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. 

 

Jason was born on May 25, 1982, in Providence, RI, to his beloved parents, Jesse C. Jones Jr., and Carol E. (Collins) Cannal. 

 

Jason worked as a chimney technician and thrived highly in his position. He had a passion for sports, chess, and history, but boxing was his favorite. Jason had a good sense of humor and loved to be around family and friends. He would make everyone laugh with the stories he told. He was loved dearly by everyone around him, and he will always live in our hearts.

 

Alongside his parents, he is survived by his son, Jason C. Jones Jr., his sisters Jestina Dorley, Nakeea & Shaniqua Cannal, and his brother Jesse C. Jones III, several nieces and nephews, and many more relatives. 

 

Jason's visitation will be held  Monday, November 13, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Mount Pleasant Funeral and Cremation Service, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in North Burial Ground, Providence.
