Joanne L. Humphrey of Taunton, MA, unexpectedly and peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loved ones, on March 22, 2024, at the age of 72.

Josie was a lifelong resident of Massachusetts, graduating from North Weymouth High School and becoming a loving homemaker and stay-at-home mom to her four children and many others she considers her "kids."

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund J. Hindmarsh, Lucy Evelyn Lee, and Arnold Lee, and her beautiful grandson, Kevin William Dickson.

Living on in the hearts of her loved ones, she leaves behind her husband, William E. Humphrey, of Taunton, MA. Her son Shawn M. Cole and his children Kourtni, Bret, and Zachary Cole, of Dighton and Plymouth, MA. Her first-born daughter, Jennifer L. Dickson, her husband, Scott N. Dickson Sr, and their children, Samantha, Scott & Kaylee, and Stephen Dickson, are all of Plymouth, MA. Her second daughter, Sarah L. Fernandes, and her husband, Ednaldo Fernandes, of Rockland, MA. And her youngest daughter, Elizabeth E. Humphrey, and her daughter Paige of Taunton, MA. Joanne also lives on in her great-granddaughter, Marla J. Dickson of Plymouth, MA. Carrying Joanne's memory in their hearts are also her siblings Laura Colpus, Lois(DeDee) Nickerson, Edmund J. Hindmarsh(Teddy), and William Hindmarsh(Billy).
