Barbara Marguerite Cullen Obituary
Barbara Marguerite Cullen, 91, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024. Daughter of the late George and Evelyn (L'Heureux) Delaney. Loving wife of the late Andre Arthur Cullen. Before her retirement, Barbara was both a homemaker and a manager of a health food store.
Barbara is lovingly remembered by two brothers, George Delaney (MA), Raymond Delaney (RI) and three daughters, Kim Cullen-Doorman (FL), Tina Racine (RI) and Sandra Cullen (RI).
Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed singing in a church choir. She volunteered at senior centers teaching arts and crafts. Her greatest love was flying stunt kites, and she was a member of the Wind Blown Friends Kite Club.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 9:30am at St Peter and St Andrews Episcopal Church, 25 Pomona Ave, Providence. Burial will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. For further information and condolences, please visit MOUNTPLEASANTFH.COM.
