Obituary of Louise Margaret Goding

Louise M. Goding, 90, of Cranston, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024. A daughter of the late Harry T. Reavey and Mary (Castro) Reavey. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Goding. Sister of the late John Reavey, Frances (Reavey) Allen, and Roberta A. (Reavey) Bowe. Louise was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League of Holy Ghost Church. Louise was a clerk-typist in the School Lunch and Food Services Programs and an accounting clerk in the Transportation/Food Services Department. Louise retired after 29 years of service and happy memories on January 30, 1990. Angel Tavaras presented a Citizens Citation to Louise on her 80th Birthday. This honor highlighted her dedication and kindness to everyone and the care and concern she consistently demonstrated toward the young people. She is the beloved mother of Joseph M. Parillo, Susan M. (Parillo) Jones, and her husband, Warren C. Jones. Our extended family includes Craig and Carol Goding, Lynn and Dan Gilleney, Laurie and Paul Johnson, Glen and Allison Goding, and their families.

Louise's Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 10 am at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Her visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
