Obituary of Blanca Ofelia Restrepo Acosta

Blanca O. Restrepo Acosta, 71, of Providence, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was born in Columbia and is the daughter of late Jose Alfredo Restrepo and Edilia Castro. Blanca was Jose Acosta's beloved wife. She worked in the Jewelry Industry for many years before her retirement. Blanca enjoyed listening to music and loved to dance.

Blanca was the loving mother of Sara Telles Acosta and Lina Garcia,  Grandmother of Alexander Telles Acosta, and sister of Maria Restrepo, Luz Restrepo, and Alba Restrepo. 

Blancas's Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, from 5pm to 8pm, with a service at 7:30pm in the Mount Pleasant Funeral and Cremation Service, 168 Academy Ave., Providence. A second visitation will be held Monday, August 26, 2024, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in the Mount Pleasant Funeral, and Cremation Service burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. Trabajó en la industria de la joyería durante muchos años antes de jubilarse. A Blanca le gustaba escuchar música y le encantaba bailar.   Blanca era la amorosa madre de Sara Telles Acosta y Lina García, abuela de Alexander Telles Acosta y hermana de María Restrepo, Luz Restrepo y Alba Restrepo.  El velorio de Blanca se llevará a cabo el sábado 24 de agosto de 5 p. m. a 8 p. m., con un servicio a las 7:30 p. m. en el Servicio de Funeral y Cremación de Mount Pleasant, 168 Academy Ave., Providence. Se llevará a cabo un segundo velorio el lunes 26 de agosto de 2024, de 8:30 am a 9:30 am en el Funeral Mount Pleasant, y el entierro del Servicio de Cremación seguirá en North Burial Ground, Providence.
