Obituary of Barbara Vanterpool

Barbara Vanterpool (better known as the governor), 60, of Providence, RI, passed away at Rhode Hospital on Tuesday morning, 27th August 2024. She was born in St. Kitts, British West Indies, to the late Godfrey Clarke-Fyfield and Elvira Elizabeth Vanterpool-Williams. Barbara worked as a CNA for over 30 years (before she became ill). Left to mourn her passing are: Her sons: Gemayel Dyer, Basheem Connor, and Kareem Connor Her grandchildren: Teana, Nathaniel, and Zeniyah Connor. Dominic Jameer Dyer and Ellavonne Mae Dyer Siblings: Amoy Williams and Dexter Vanterpool. Her funeral service will take place at the Lincoln SDA Church, 1000 Smithfield Ave., Lincoln, on Wednesday 4th, September 2024, at 6:30pm.
