Obituary of Lorna M. Dobson

Lorna Dobson, 71, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. She was born in Central Falls and is the daughter of the late Raymond and Laura (Bogacki) Dobson. She was the beloved wife of William Tandy. She was predeceased by her sister, Doreen.

Lorna graduated from the New England Institute of Technology and worked for many years in the Information Technology Network Engineering field. 

She lived life fully and enjoyed traveling to Florida and Texas to visit family. Lorna loved animals, especially her beloved dogs.

After working for several local IT companies, she volunteered with the US Army Corps of Engineers in Stuart, Florida, managing a campground and Marina with her husband, Bill.
